Sony's new bulimic Playstation 3

36% less fat and 30% more "greener". (black)

Greeting Geeks and Freaks, I proudly bring to you Sony's ,slimmer is better,PlayStation 3. This newest feature of the new slim are that its 36% less heavier ( 3.8kg from the hulking 8kg from the first one), 30% less power consumption, for those who love mother Earth, and a seemingly 32% less smaller( width and height wise) when you put the Slim and the previous PlayStation 3 side by side. Other physical difference of the new PlayStation 3 is, cosmetically, the looks. Notice the finish on the surface has changed from the glossier look to a less subtle texture. Other features that the PlayStation 3 Slim uses a physical buttons which no longer touch sensitive. The next gen little brother might seem tame to look at the first time when you look at it, the apple has never fall far from the tree.. read on..

Under the hood of the new PlayStation 3 slim, there's no significant changes. It still has the most powerful processor in its kind, backed up with the Bluray player, 2 USB slot for your charging your controller or storing needs. behind the console you still have the standard power supply, AV cable and HDMI slot. This little bastard comes equipped with a whopping 120 Gig hard drive, that rest under the CD drive which can be upgradable. All of this comes standard in every box. If that's doesn't make you happy, maybe this feature will definitely change your wallets mind..

Since Sony announced the new re-release of the PlayStation 3, it comes with a few hefty good news. The launch of the new Slim has announced the release world-wide this coming SEPTEMBER 2009! Yes! This September. The new, and IMPORTANT, new announcement, Sony also mention the new price tag. A significant price drop, from a popular demand from Sony fan cheapskates, of US$299 (BD$450). Score! FYI- it may vary from store to store. So better save up and get a head start.

So there you have it.
PlayStation 3 little brother new outlook and new price tag. Slimmer is always welcome, yet also best. Looking back from PSone slim, PS2 slim and PSP slim.(always a PlayStation tradition to cut the fat and price). If you haven't have a PlayStation 3 and too cheap ass to own one, here's your chance to get your grubby hands on one (or two..) Thank you Sony for making my dreams come true!

InFamous Review

Bite me Starkiller.

Welcome to Empire City, a city full of hope, serenity and tranquil. Until someone blew it up and taking sizable chunk with it. Cole,a bike messenger, woke up in the middle of the city, destroyed and has gone to hell. After a few days, falling conscious, he possesses the power to control lightning. The fate of the city is under Government quarantine and its up to you to do something about it

In a nutshell, Infamous is an open world game where you can do whatever you, blow anything up and rail slide wherever you want. There is a catch however, the Karma system lets you be dubbed a super hero, or a super JERK! Either you bring Empire City back on its feet, or bring the people down on their knees. The tag line says it nicely, "Save what's left or destroy it all."

The real star of the game is the game play. Cole climbs exactly where you want him to be, combat are challenging and never frustrating, and rail sliding roof top to another is breathtaking. As you progress throughout the game, your power becomes cooler and cooler. I don't mean it topples more, but you become a juggernaut. Be a good boy your power becomes precision and stays blue. Become a bad boy you become a massive destructive force of nature. After all said and done, just recharge to the nearest light pole ( or bio leech any pedestrian) and start blasting.

The story is decent enough to make you wonder more, but somehow its not very deep. The Unique side quest lets you aligned with the specific missions to gain enough experience points to unlock new powers and more trophy. For those trophy whores, you have to go schizos to get that bloody platinum. That's the long version. If you have a Playstation 3 and you dont buy Infamous, you are dumb. Well if you excuse me, I wanna zap some conduits to hell and bio leech some trophies. 5 blast shards out of 5.
